Stretching the language of COLOR beyond limits – even further!
When using the language of COLOR, there are no boundaries, no rules,
no limits, and no restrictions.
Color has always been the universal
language of artists, and our keys to the kingdom. Join me as we utilize
strong vivid colors to express and expound. On the first day, we will work
on larger-than-large pages and then turn those – Presto! – into an amazing
artist book, using a couple of simple folds. On Day Two, we will create
a modern-day type case/shadow box, with 24 fascinating openings.
Get ready to take your ideas about color and translate those into a
completed box that is full of found objects, ephemera, painted tags, bundles,
and spirit wands….all in the colors of your choice. We will explore endless
techniques for unlimited layering, and you will get plenty of ideas
to add depth and richness to your mixed-media collages, assemblages,
altered books and journals.
For celebrants of color and layering…this process-driven Class
is for Seekers and Adventurers of all skill levels.
*If you have dietary restrictions, you are welcome to bring your lunch. There is a refrigerator and microwave on the premises.
