Polymer Clay Encased Hearts

Tejae’s Polymer Clay Encased Hearts are truly a treasure! She will be teaching various techniques while creating these hearts. In this class, we will be sculpting, baking & decorating the encased hearts using a variety of common altering supplies including stamps, inks, crayons & acrylic. Finished hearts are approx. 1 1/2” tall & 1 1/2” wide. Beginners are welcome to attend.

3 - 2oz Translucent Premo Clay,

3 - 2oz white Premo Clay

3 - 2oz black Premo

Pasta machine (if you have one, bring it, if not, I'll bring 4 to share. 1st come, 1st served)

Xacto knife

bone folder

acrylic rod or brayer

1/4" small stiff paint brush

work surface: glass cutting board OR a manilla folder (no wood or plastic)

Kato tissue blade (T-Blade, NuFlex or NuBlade either will be fine)

Liquid sculpey

4oz water bottle

Words or short phrases to be stamped into your heart.

Optional for the students to bring:

small alpha stamps (3/16" or 1/4"), word stamps, alcohol inks, mica powders, stamping ink (Staz on and/or ColorBox), acrylic paints, prismacolor markers, prismacolor pencils, crayons, decorative pattern stamps, unmounted texture stamps, small transfer images, heat gun.
