Definition: The manipulation of metal using the unique shapes and faces of a hammer.
Learn one of the world’s oldest methods of manipulating metal, forging! Hammer, bend, and shape metal wire, while taking out your aggressions. Learn the basic techniques of forging: drawing a taper, twists, curves, planer shifts, square to round and ball an end.
Also learn the basics of annealing, fusing, filing, sanding and polishing. Then apply these techniques to create a graceful pendant, or a pair of beautiful earrings.
